CURRICULUM

School Academic Year

The School Academic Year comprises of three terms as herein below:

First Term        :   June, July, August and September
Second Term   :   October, November and December
Third Term      :   January, February, March and April

            The School is recognized by Matriculation Board, Department of School Education, Chennai, Government of Tamil Nadu for Classes from Standard VI to Standard X; and by the State Board of Higher Education, Department of School Education, Government of Tamil Nadu, for Classes Plus One (XI Standard) & Plus Two (Standard XII). It prepares the Students from VI Standard to X Standard as per the Syllabus for Studies by Matriculation Board of Tamil Nadu enabling them to be well prepared for Matriculation Examinations conducted by the Board. As for the Higher Secondary Classes i.e. Plus One (XI Standard) and Plus Two (XII Standard), the Syllabus for Studies prescribed by the State Board of Higher Secondary Education Tamil Nadu is followed, preparing the students to take up the Higher Secondary (Plus Two //XII Standard) Examination conducted by this Board and Pass out with High Success Ratings.

School Curriculum

The School provides instructions from Standard VI to XII, progressively on developing various skills among the students.

A full-fledged language Laboratory with graded lessons to suit the specific needs of students is a unique feature of the Institution. Work Experience, Outdoor and Co-Curricular Activities, etc. enrich the Seniors’ Curriculum Uncrowded classroom with the Teacher Student ratio working out to an ideal average of 1:35 make individual attention and personalised care a reality.

Boys : Std. VI to XII
Greenish Grey Shorts; Checked half-sleeved shirts with Shoulder straps; School Monogram; School Belt; White Socks and Black Leather Shoes
Standard VIII may opt to wear Full Pants; Standard IX and above should wear Full Pants only

Girls : Std. VI and VII
Red and Green checked divided shirt & Pink half sleeved shirt with checked piping and shoulder strap. School Monogram, School Belt, White Socks and Black Leather Shoes

Girls : Std. VII to XII
Light Pink Salwar, Red and Green Checked Kameez, Light Pink Waist Coat. School Monogram, School Belt, White Socks and Black Leather Shoes

Physical and Health Education (P.H.E.) Uniform Wear:-

The P.H.E. Uniform must be worn by Students of Classes VI to XII during PT periods

BOYS :      White Shorts, House Sports Shirt, School Belt, White Socks and White Canvas Shoes
(All Classes)            

GIRLS :     White divided Skirt, House Sports Shirt, School Belt,White Socks and White Canvas Shoes
(All Classes)            

The hair of Boys and Girls should be trimmed and well groomed always. Short hair should be properly trimmed and should not fall below the collar of the uniform shirts.

However, Girls with long hair should wear it in two tight plaits, doubled up and tied up with Red Rubber Ribbons.
